Israel Trip Update - April 22nd

Journal April 22nd:

To begin our journey in the Bedouin camp site, we rode camels in Israel's Negev desert. After the camel ride, we were welcomed into camp with tea and a traditional coffee ritual. From there we headed off to a Bedouin styled dining hall with low tables and wooden benches where we ate fresh pita and platters of meat, chicken, and hummus. We then took our bags and went to the sleeping quarters where we set up our bed of mats and sleeping bags. Before we went to sleep, we had some free time and then a Bon fire where we sang songs, played games, and roasted marshmallows. After the fire, we went to bed to prepare for the long day ahead.
