On Tuesday, 2/12, the 7th grade went with Rabbi Cohen to the OU Headquarters in Manhattan. This trip was part of their kashrut unit. The students learned first-hand about the processes involved in granting, and maintaining, kosher certification at commercial food companies. They also had a tour of the OU facility and learned about other programs the OU is involved with in the broader Jewish community.
