8th Grade Science
The 8th grade performed the experiment of Electrolysis of Copper Chloride. They were able to split the compound into its elemental components: Copper and Chloride.

A ThanksGIVEing Event
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our ThanksGIVEing event last Friday! We were so happy to have over 100 students participate in this after school event! The HAMC ECC and Grade K students had a great time at PJ Library Story Time! The 1st through 4th grade students had an awesome time at Art for Kids! And finally, the 5th - 8th grade students did an amazing mitzvah packing toiletries for the homeless people in our MetroWest Community.

A Thanksgiving Celebration!
The 4th Grade is getting ready for
an Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving Celebration. The class mothers helped the students bake cornbread and sugar cookies in the shape of turkeys. They had a great
time mixing the batter, rolling out the dough, and using the cookie cutters!
They can't wait until Thanksgiving week to eat their goodies and party!

4th Grade Poetry
The 4th graders memorized the poem The Road Not Taken by
Robert Frost. For fun, some children
choreographed the poem in rap style!

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there

The 2013 to 2014 Student Government
Everyone did a wonderful job campaigning for Student Government! Each candidate spoke beautifully at election day last Friday and we are so excited to announce the 2013 to 2014 Student Government!

A Wine Tasting Evening
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a Wine Tasting Evening.
All proceeds went to
benefit the Jason K. Jacobs Memorial Early Childhood Scholarship fund at the
Hebrew Academy of Morris County. This fund, which provides partial ECC tuition
to families in need, was established by the family of Jason Jacobs, who was
lost on 9.11.01.

5th Grade Science!
The fifth grade science class investigated the question: Which airplane flew the farthest? Each group decided what to test: the length, weight or style of a plane. Each group then designed an investigation, making sure to closely follow the scientific method; our current unit of study.
