What's the best way to spend the last day of school...? A talent show of course! From synchronized dances to instrumental performances to poetic readings to melodious sing-alongs, our students did it all! What a talented groups of students...we are so proud of them!
Our ECC-ers and Kindergartners celebrated their graduations in the best possible way this week; with singing, dancing and a celebration with family and friends! The ECC students excitedly accepted their gift from their teachers as they "stepped up" to Kindergarten and our Kindergartners (literally) stepped over the bridge to 1sr Grade. They are so excited and we are so proud of them!!
Congratulations!!
Team spirit was in the air today as our Kindergartners through 8th graders split up into teams to take on the HAMC Annual Field Day! The red, green, blue, and yellow teams played with all of their spirit and energy during volleyball, kickball, basketball, ga-ga, tug-of-war, soccer and finally, an Apache Relay. Congratulations to all the teams on your good sportsmanship and teamwork!!
This
year's Auction was a wonderful success with over two-hundred guests in
attendance, fantastic auction items, lots of good feelings and
a beautiful send-off to a fantastic 8th Grade class.
Thank
you to everyone who made the night what it was.
These ECC all stars rocked the HAMC fields playing soccer, running relay races, playing the "wonder ball" and running under parachutes on HAMC Field Day!
Why were Moreh Moshe and Moti spotted on the HAMC roof on Wednesday??
The only answer could be..."Science is Happening Day"!! Our 4th graders were tried with the mission of constructing a casing that would cushion and protect an egg from a one story drop. Moreh Moshe and Moti dropped the encased eggs from the school rooftop while we all awaited the results. While we did witness some SPLATTS!, many of the eggs landed safely. The 5th graders had to create parachutes with everyday materials that would stay up in the air for as long as possible. We watched each parachute smoothly float down from the rooftop. Science was definitely "happening" at the HAMC!
